Centralized Credentialing Services was launched in 2001 with one goal: To give our clients an easier way to fill their credentialing needs.
Based in Tyler, Texas, CCS was founded as an independent agency to perform credentialing and recredentialing for UT Health East Texas health system. As the leading hospital system in East Texas, UT Health East Texas has been providing high-quality medical care since 1951 with hospitals and affiliated clinics now in 10 East Texas counties. Immediately, CCS began serving other healthcare organizations as well.
Today, still a subsidiary of UT Health East Texas, we have an insider’s understanding of the complex world of healthcare. We understand that credentialing is an important, and necessary, facet of providing healthcare – but that many organizations prefer to turn over this complicated task to an outside expert. Our staff of specialists now performs credentialing services for more than 7,000 providers annually.
